I wanted to do a quick update on Healthcare until I have time to address "Problem #3". H.R.3200, the only healthcare bill presented so far, has been recommended by the committee to be voted on by the House. That means it is now officially on the agenda for the House of Representatives to vote on. The order that bills are voted on is decided by the House Majority Leader so we really don't know exactly when it will happen. We will most likely see a number of healthcare propositions that will be considered before a final bill makes it all the way through the House and the Senate.
Now that the Healthcare issue has become much more talked about and controversial, I am going to reset the counter on my Healthcare Poll. Please vote and let your opinion be know. I would also love to see some comments. I know these issues I talk about on this blog are very controversial so speak out!

I agree that private health care has major problems, but I have also had to deal with medicaid as well. What people don't understand is that government run health care isn't going to be like the nice private insurance that we are used to just without the cost. Government run healthcare is not going to make all of the problems that you find with private healthcare it is just going to make it impossible to appeal anything or change your plan. It is also going to end up costing us more than any kind of health problem ever could have. The only place that the money is going to come from is us. The money for this program isn't going to suddenly appear.(not a very smooth answer, but just a little bit of the thoughts that are floating around in my mind)
