Thomas Jefferson said, "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." How long will we continue to be "free men"? I hope we're all paying close attention to what's going on in Washington right now.
According to Vice President Biden, the President is looking at using Executive Action for gun control. What does that mean? It means bypassing congress.
This is what he said today.
“There are executive orders, executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet."
“And as the president said, if our actions result in only saving one life, they’re worth taking. But I’m convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of Americans and take thousands of people out of harm’s way if we act responsibly.”

Saving lives is great, but saving freedom would also be a good thing.

Really, bans and controls control the people that are already willing to follow the laws anyway. It limits the freedom of those that follow because those that don't already don't and will continue to defy whatever new laws are created. It is frustrating.
